The Focus Systems Next Generation Development Award for Research Advisor Grants, jointly administered by Focus Systems, Inc. and Liverness Corporation, invited applications from 106 researchers who participated as research advisors for the December 2019 Science Castle, and after a rigorous review process, the following We are pleased to announce that we have selected two recipients for the following two awards.<\/p>\n

\nResearch expenses 300,000 yen<\/p>\n

Ten applications were received for this year's program, and the above two recipients were selected after screening of documents and interviews.
\nThe selected researchers will provide research support to one junior high school and high school student each for approximately six months, starting in July. The main support will include monthly research discussions and presentations using an online conference system, etc., advice via e-mail, etc., and participation in presentations of research results.<\/p>\n

In addition, middle and high school students who will receive support from this grantee are currently invited to apply nationwide for the Science Castle Research Grant Focus Systems Award.

I am very honored to receive the Focus Systems Next Generation Development Award. My main research theme is the question of basic physics, \"How does this world exist?\" However, interdisciplinary research activities that I had not thought of at the time, such as cancer treatment and psychological experiments, have also expanded through connections through various encounters regardless of the field. I am now looking forward to seeing the research that no one would have thought of being produced through interactions with junior and senior high school student researchers. We will do our best to create a world where junior and senior high school students can more easily collaborate with universities and research institutions.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We are very pleased to have been selected as your research advisor.
\nWe are very much looking forward to seeing what kind of experiments and discussions we can develop with the students who will be hired for research. For the time being, my main activities will be online interviews, but I strongly hope that one day I will be able to work with the students in the field.
