Thank you very much for the many applications.<\/span>The teams selected for the Nippon Foundation Marine Challenge Program have been selected.<\/span>The selected teams will proceed with their research with the aim of presenting their results at the regional block conference in August.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Marine Challenge Program?<\/b><\/span>
\n\u3000The Nippon Foundation and LIVANES have launched the Marine Challenge Program to find challenges in the marine field and to make friends who will create the future between people and the sea. 60 teams of junior and senior high school student researchers from all over Japan are invited to challenge any kind of research related to the sea, fisheries field, and aquatic environment in fiscal 2017, and will receive research funding grants and The program provides research funding grants and support from research advisors.<\/span><\/p>\n

List of adopted teams and themes (in no particular order)<\/b><\/span>
\nA total of 60 teams were selected: 12 teams from Hokkaido and Tohoku, 13 teams from Kanto, 14 teams from Kansai, 10 teams from Chugoku and Shikoku, and 11 teams from Kyushu and Okinawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
