Advanced research with roots in society.\"<\/strong>The Tohoku Conference, themed \"The Tohoku Conference for the Tohoku University of Science and Technology\", was attended by about 150 participants, including researchers from Tohoku University, and seven prizes were awarded after a strict screening by five judges,The grand prize winner is \"Mikazuki Kimo,\" which challenges decontamination with locally collected Mikazuki Kimo.<\/strong><\/span>Fukushima Seikei High School, Department of Natural Science<\/strong>The head of the jury, Mr. Jo Inoue, Vice President CTO of LIVANES Inc. In addition to the oral presentations by junior and senior high school students, there were special lectures by Mr. Sato of Rohto Pharmaceutical's Research and Development Division on research careers, Dr. Ishida of Tohoku University's School of Engineering on hall introduction and cross-disciplinary engineering, and Dr. Fuse of Tohoku University's School of Medicine on the Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization-based Dr. Fuse of Tohoku University School of Medicine spoke about next-generation community medicine.
