Mr. Akihito Okuda of Okayama University of Science Senior High School won the Grand Prize!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 20, 2022, the Science Castle 2021 Chugoku-Shikoku Conference (hosted by The Chugoku Bank, Sanyo Shimbun, and Science Castle 2021 Chugoku-Shikoku Conference Executive Committee, operated by Liverness Corporation) was held at the Main Hall on the 3rd floor of the Chugoku Bank Head Office. Twelve oral presentations and 40 poster presentations were made, mainly by students engaged in research activities at junior high and high schools in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">*All programs were conducted under infection control measures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Science Castle 2021 Chugoku and Shikoku Conference was held with the cooperation of Okayama Innovation Project Partners (24 corporate partners and 8 financial supporters) and Science Castle 2021 Partners (13 companies and universities). The project also received the Chugoku Bank Prize for its approach to solving issues that are also relevant to the community.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, 13 abstracts were selected for oral presentations based on a rigorous review of the many submissions, and were honored with the Science Castle 2021 Chugoku and Shikoku Annual Meeting Excellence Award.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:
