RIVANES will hold the KIMOTSUKI SPACE CAMP 2019 for junior high and high school students in Kimotsuki Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, which has the only two rocket launch sites in Japan.<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u3000This year's theme is \"Space Observation. After learning about space observation as a whole, students will build their own radio telescope by assembling a receiver, writing a program, and combining it with a satellite dish available at electronics stores to observe the temperature of the sun, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000Private companies are gradually increasing their participation in space development, which used to be limited to certain researchers from the national government and universities, and the time has come when venture companies and university and graduate students can also play a leading role in development. The official name of the launch site for rockets in Kimotsuki Town is the Uchinoura Space Center, and when there are no launches, the large parabolic antenna plays the role of receiving information coming from space.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000In Kimotsuki, the town closest to space, participants will build a simple observation device with their own hands, and each group will plan and present a project on the observation they would like to conduct on the ground or in space and its method. The students may start observation projects that will continue after the camp. During this time, he was exposed to a lot of science and technology and met astronauts and researchers, which influenced him to become a scientist. Since 2005, he has been an internship student at Riverness Inc. As a doctoral student, he participated in a space education project and conducted research on growing space miyakogusa at junior high and high schools across Japan. 2010.12 After receiving his Ph.D. (Science) from the University of Tsukuba, he joined RIVANES Corporation, where he has been involved in launching technology development projects involving collaboration among researchers in different fields.<\/span><\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
