(Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Vice President CTO: Jo Inoue) has been operating the \"Science Castle Research Fund\" as a research grant program to promote research activities by middle and high school students since 2016. We are pleased to announce that Nippon Ham Corporation has joined as a partner in the \"Science Castle Research Fund Resource Circulation Award,\" which has been accepting applications since December 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2016, the Science Castle Research Fund has issued 14 open calls for proposals, supporting a cumulative total of 167 research projects. The research themes applied for by junior and senior high school students, the next generation of researchers, are diverse, ranging from those born from familiar issues and simple questions to those focusing on social issues that will lead to the state of society 10 years from now, and offer various discoveries for the researchers at LIVANES and its partner companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, in December 2020, under the title of \"Resource Recycling Award,\" RIVANES is calling for applications for research on the development of technologies and the creation of mechanisms to promote the recycling of plastics and other resources in order to support the research activities of the next generation of researchers in addressing the social issues of mass consumption and mass disposal.<\/span><\/p>\n

And now, Nippon Ham Corporation has decided to participate as a partner in this award to support research that will lead to the solution of food loss issues in particular and the production of protein resources through recycling.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Science Castle Research Fund Resource Circulation Award will be open for applications until March 19, and teams will be selected through a screening process. Nippon Ham Corporation will review and select the \"Nippon Ham Special Prize\" and provide expert advice to the selected teams.<\/span><\/p>\n
