The 88 presenters for Science Castle World 2026 have been announced! Next-generation researchers from 9 countries will gather

The presenters for "Science Castle World 2026," which will be held at the Oyakama Campus of the University of Science Tokyo on December 12 (Sat) and 13 (Sun) have been decided. The oral presentations will consist of 24 papers, and the poster presentations will consist of 64 papers.

On the day of the event, we welcome high school and middle school students who are working on research, as well as students who want to start their own research, and teachers from schools involved in inquiry activities.

"Can we make a ship that is more resistant to waves with hemp rope?" "How can we reduce the foam when pouring carbonated beverages?" This competition brings together high school and middle school students who have been pursuing research based on familiar questions and interests. In oral presentations, you can learn about the background and results of your research, as well as the innovations and trial and error in your experiments.
During poster presentation time, you can talk directly with the presenter. By asking questions or sharing your own thoughts, you may be able to inspire new insights in those watching the presentation as well as the presenter.

It is also an opportunity for teachers to learn about diverse research topics and the way students formulate questions and convey their findings. Please join us for this event, where students who are engaged in inquiry through their classes and club activities will be on hand to share their experiences.
Why not meet researchers of the same generation and discover what you would like to research and what might be a helpful hint for advancing your current research?
